I just received my “Cursum Perficio” tile, and it is exquisite! I have been deeply moved ever since I first learned (way back in the 1980s) of the existence of the original tiles at Marilyn Monroe‘s last home, and was told of their hauntingly prophetic meaning.
I saw the photos and read the great reviews on Etsy before ordering, so I was already expecting something special. But this completely exceeded my expectations! Perfectly executed, absolutely beautiful, and looks exactly like the real deal at 12305 Fifth Helena Drive in Brentwood—which, I just found out, will NOT be demolished by its current owners who were seeking to tear it down!!! The Los Angeles City Council voted to designate it as a historic cultural monument yesterday!!! 🎉🍾🥂 So I guess that makes this my lucky tile!
